BJJ Sweeps: Video #6

In this sweep, your opponent is basing out rather than overcompensating his weight too far forward or back in an attempt to “surf” on top of your guard and avoid the sweep. Instead, of taking him over in the previous angles, you stretch him out with your legs and use a classic “standing in base” Brazilian Jiu Jitsu movement to transition in to a standing position, then circle until he loses his base and fall to his back.
